HUDSON, NY – May 10, 2018 – A. Michael Bucci, managing shareholder of Pattison, Koskey, Howe & Bucci (PKHB) CPAs PC, has been recognized by the Columbia County Association in the City of New York with its prestigious “Distinguished Citizen” award for 2018.

Bucci will be honored May 10 at the association’s annual meeting in New York City. The Board of Directors of the Columbia County Association selected Bucci for his outstanding personal and professional contributions to the community, including his commitment to numerous nonprofit and municipal boards throughout the Hudson Valley.

A managing shareholder since 2008, Bucci has led PKHB’s growth to 10 partners, 18 CPAs and six offices throughout the Hudson Valley.

His board service includes Twin County Vikings, Hudson Little league, Hudson Boys and Girls Club, Hudson BPOE Lodge 787, Hudson Rotary, Greeenport Park Commission, Hudson Dollars for Scholars, Hudson Booster Club and the Columbia County Association of the City of New York. He was named to First Niagara Bank’s eastern regional advisory board in 2009 and remained on the board until its merger with Key Corp in 2017. He is a member of St. Mary’s Church in Hudson, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the NYS Society of CPAs. Currently a member and trustee of the Columbia County Sons and Daughters of Italy 659, Bucci was named the organization’s “Positive Image Award” recipient in 2005.

Bucci and his wife, Dawn, have three adult sons and live in Greenport. His grandparents owned Bucci’s Labella Napoli Restaurant in Hudson for over 50 years until the 1980s.
